L&N Bridge over the Green River, Munfordville, Kentucky

This mile-long bridge over the Green River at Munfordville was a wooden bridge during the Civil War. In September 1862 it was protected by a ring of earthen forts and garrisoned by a pick-up Federal Brigade. The bridge was a key part of the supply line from Louisville and Nashville.
