Below Back Bay.Presented, is a PCC car inside the Huntington Avenue Subway, inbound between Prudential and Copley Station's on the former Arborway Line. The car is about to join the rails of the Boylston Street Subway, and is underneath a section of the city which formerly had been a tidal marsh known as "Back Bay" in 1856, some thirty-nine years before construction began on the new subway system.
