Stevens Avenue Crossing In Valhalla, NY

Train #9959 from New York-Grand Central is passing the tiny Mount Pleasant station on Metro-North's Harlem Line in Valhalla, N.Y. Hundreds of trains pass this location every day of the week, but only a few weekend trains actually make the stop. Mount Pleasant serves passengers visiting one of the many large, famous cemeteries on both sides of the tracks. The station is among Metro-North's smallest, if not the smallest. It's bandstand-like high-level platform is less than a car length long. Baseball's Babe Ruth is among the many souls at rest here.
