Colorado Railcar Aero DMU demonstrator #2002 is viewed from the Beaverton Creek MAX light rail station Nov. 20, 2002 while on its national tour.

The car made several trips along the Portland & Western's ex-SP Tillamook Branch between Beaverton and Hillsboro. It is shown on a P&W freight spur adjacent to TriMet's Gresham-Hillsboro MAX Blue Line.

Three DMUs and a trailer coach based on this design are in service between Beaverton and Wilsonville for the Westside Express Service (WES) regional rail operation that began Feb. 2, 2009.
