"Froze Up"

The Ocean is shown at Armdale. NS, backing towards Windsor Jct. to be turned before its 12:35 departure from downtown Halifax. The train is usually turned after its arrival from Montreal, but the eastbound train didn't get in until 22:30 the night before, and the crew may have been short on hours.

Unfortunately, after they returned to Halifax this morning, it was determined that the train had "froze up", and couldn't take passengers to Montreal. Today's eastbound was turned at Moncton, and Nova Scotia passengers bussed there before starting their train journey.

Here's the train the next day, finally on its way to Montreal:
