Montreal Tramways 2056 (ex-Springfield Car 575)Montreal Tramways 2056 was pulled out of Wood's Car Barn on this day for some excercise. The car had not been run on the line for some time and some people felt like running it, thus the car was run. 2056 was built in 1927 by Wason and was originally numbered 575 and used on the Springfield Street Railway. It was eventually sold to Montreal Tramways where the car ran under new paint and operated until 1959.
2056 is seen here at the Hancock Passing siding.
